A celebration, fit for a king...or 3! Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday is a carnival celebration occurring the day before Ash Wednesday. We will create & enjoy a King Cake. King Cakes are enjoyed in honor of the 3 Kings Day, also known as the Feast of Epiphany. A small figurine of a baby is hidden inside the cake & whoever gets the slice with the figurine gets to host the next party!

Women's History Month 2022 theme is "Providing Healing, Promoting Hope". During the month of March, we reflect on the invaluable contributions of women throughout history. We think of Florence Nightingale who healed soldiers during the Crimean War & is considered the founder of modern nursing. Mary Wollstonecraft fought for women's rights, advocating for social & political reform for the betterment of women. She inevitably promoted hope for equality. Like Florence & Mary, many women dedicated their lives & careers to empower women and continue to do so today.

Leprechauns, Luck & Lots O' fun! We will be decorating in plenty of emerald, crafting, enjoying St. Paddy's treats & more!

Residents & our Activities Department will be busy baking goods every Friday in April to support the Wounded Warrior Project. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

This year's theme is A Voice to Lead. It is our nurses who advocate, observe, care, and assess daily to ensure the wellbeing of our residents. We celebrate our nurses for their devotion, empathy, and expertise. We are eternally grateful.

Durham Day is held in downtown Durham on June 4th this year. Harmony Homes will be there showcasing the wonderful opportunities we have for jobs, giving out Harmony swag, and representing our community! Check out the Durham Facebook page for more info.

If you missed the opportunity to join us at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of our childcare center, you now have another chance! Join us on July 11th from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at the childcare center located at Harmony Place, 55 Briggs Way Durham NH for an open house event. Meet Brynn, our childcare teacher and learn about the curriculum, philosophy, and enjoy the beautiful views of the brand new playground in a scenic nature environment.

Harmony Homes is participating in Dover's Festival of Trees, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce on December 2nd.  We will be sponsoring a tree in the event, and therefore, will be collecting items like tickets, gift cards, small gifts & trinkets, etc.

This year our theme is 'Silver Bells by the Bay' and are accepting families donations through the month of November!
